CapexRadar

Know who is about to spend, weeks before they ask for quotes.

Every week a few hundred British companies commit to growing: more vehicles than they own, more capacity than their site is built for, a project that has just become a build. CapexRadar finds the ones in your market, works out what they will have to buy, and sends you the shortlist with the evidence attached.

You get the shortlist. We keep the research.

Three markets where the moment is written down.

In some industries a company cannot grow quietly. Before the money is spent, the intention is set down on an official record, dated and quantified. Those are the markets we work, because there the signal is early, specific and checkable, rather than a guess dressed up as intent data.

Fleet & transport

An operator is cleared to run more vehicles than it owns.

Vehicles and trailers, finance and leasing, tyres and maintenance, telematics, drivers.

Most of the spending falls in the first three months.

Water, waste & industrial plant

A site is cleared to process more, or to open at all.

Treatment plant, pumps and tanks, processing lines, monitoring, abatement, site infrastructure.

Design and procurement run six to eighteen months.

Grid & energy

A project passes the milestone that turns it into a build.

HV electrical, switchgear and cabling, balance of plant, civils, commissioning, long-term service.

The window is dated, and the date is on the record.

What one entry contains.

A lead list gives you a name and a phone number. An entry here gives you a reason to call, the proof behind it, and what to say. Four parts, in this order, every time.

The commitment
What the company has been cleared or contracted to do, with the figure before and after. Not a rumour, not a job advert.
The company
The legal entity, its parent, who lends to it and what its last accounts say, so you know it can pay before you spend a day on it.
Why it is real
A second, independent confirmation, or an explicit line saying none was found. We would rather tell you a signal is thin than dress it up.
The approach
What they will need in your terms and quantities, roughly when, and the one question worth asking on the call.

Entry 3 of 11 · fleet & transport

Fleet authorisation raised, 20 34 vehicles

Haulier, North West · cleared this month

Company
Private limited company, trading five years, no lender registered against it, last accounts showing cash comfortably above the deposit on fourteen tractor units.
Why it is real
Confirmed a second time in an unrelated record this month; no other project at the address.
What they buy
Our reading: fourteen units to acquire or finance inside the quarter, with trailers and tyres following, and no incumbent finance relationship to displace.
Ask them
Is the growth a new contract or a depot move, and is the fleet bought or leased?

Why this is worth more than a list.

A person reads every line

Nothing is sent because software matched a keyword. Each entry is checked, and the ones that do not hold up are dropped rather than padded out.

Evidence travels with it

Every fact carries its own reference, so you can confirm the figure yourself in about a minute before you pick up the phone.

Facts and reading kept apart

What the record states is marked as fact. What we conclude from it is marked as ours. You never have to guess which you are reading.

Your list stays yours

We do not sell the same company to six suppliers in one town. Coverage is limited per market, which is why early access is taken in order.

Early access.

Tell us what you sell and we will send the entries in your categories for the first few weeks, free, so you can judge them on your own market. If they earn their place, we agree terms one to one. If not, you say so and it stops.

We take suppliers one market at a time and keep coverage limited, so requests are answered in the order they arrive.
